異郷の地・杭州で暮らして九ヶ月、私はずっと、私と同じような立場の人たちの生活のあり方、精神状況、そして心理状態を知りたいと思ってきた。もしあなたが今、故郷を離れて暮らしているのなら——私はあなたの“その状態”を記録したい。」そう書いたあと、見知らぬネットの人々から次々とDMが届きはじめた。そのような背景の中で、《New Comer》シリーズの撮影が始まった。
“I have been living in Hangzhou as an outsider for nine months, and I have always wanted to understand the living conditions, emotional states, and psychological experiences of people like myself.If you are someone living away from your hometown, I would like to document your state.”
After posting this message, private DMs from strangers began to arrive one after another.It was under this circumstance that I began the “New Comer” series.

M Readers Club 主催、江南大学デジタルとデザイン学院・岸芸術社協力の11人展「インビジブル・フレア」。写真の平面展示に加え、デジタルメディアや3Dプリントなどを用いたクロスメディア構成により、多面的な鑑賞体験を提示する。
<Invisible Flare> is a group exhibition of 11 artists organized by M Readers Club, with support from the School of Digital Technology and Creative Design of Jiangnan University and Arti Commune.Alongside photographic works, the show incorporates digital media and 3D printing, offering a multi-layered cross-media viewing experience.

「From Where Loss Comes」プロジェクトにおいて、マルドは46年ぶりにタンザニアの地へ戻り、女性割礼という現地の慣習に着目しながら、犠牲の精神や社会的帰属意識が人間の経験の中にいかに深く根づいているのかを、客観的かつ緻密に観察している。「归途（The Return）」は、アーティストであるブラディプ・マルド自身の故郷への帰還であると同時に、〈社会の中でのアイデンティティ〉そして〈世界の中での人間の帰属感〉について探究する試みでもある。
In the project “From Where Loss Comes,” Mald returns to Tanzania for the first time in 46 years, examining the practice of female circumcision and observing—objectively and meticulously—how the spirit of sacrifice and the sense of social belonging are deeply rooted in human experience.
“The Return” is both Mald’s personal journey back to his homeland and an exploration of *how identity shapes one’s place in society, and how humans locate their sense of belonging in the world.*

頑張って創造しているの私の頭の中にある抽象的なイメージや概念は、彫刻や型取りという工程を通じて形に変えられる。私の心と魂、私の目と手、既知のものも未知のものも、私の世界。地球外生命体と接触する。一つのワームホールを通して惑星の表面を見つめ、自然のすべてを包括する包括的な宇宙。水はしばしばクレーターに蓄積して湖を形成する。その中心には小さな島があり、一匹から数千匹の生物が上昇を待っています。小さな生き物が峡谷や亀裂、水の上や水中に芽生え、生き物との触れ合い。
I am doing my best to create. The abstract images and concepts in my mind are transformed into shape through the steps of carve and mould. My heart and soul, my eyes and hands, known and unknown, my world.Contact extraterrestrial biological entity. The all-inclusive universe comprehending all nature, gazing at the surface of a planet through one wormhole. Water often accumulates in craters to form lakes. In the center of it, there is a small island where one or thousands of organisms are waiting to rise. Tiny creatures sprout in canyons, cracks, above and below water. Contact living things.
